28. Jun Opens First Serbian School In Croatia Outside of Vukovar!

Humanitarian organization 28. Jun joined the Naša Kuća association in opening the first Serbian school in Croatia outside of Vukovar today. The school is located in the village of Đevrske near Knin. There 30 students will learn the Serbian language, alphabet, history, culture and traditions. The Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia Anja Šimpraga joined 28. Jun Associate Director Sava Vojnović for the opening of the school.

Our ongoing sustainable development project in Croatia which provides economic stimulus to the Serbian community in Croatia, has surpassed $150,000 USD in investments to date. Last September, his Holiness Patriarch Porfirije joined us in hosting 30 young scholars from Croatia who had been awarded our ‘Nikola Tesla’ scholarships. 28. Jun also supported earthquake relief efforts in Croatia last year.
