About Us

Standing strong amid adversity since 2012

28. Jun is an international humanitarian organization holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2018. Since our founding in 2012, we have delivered over 250 tons of humanitarian, medical, and disaster relief aid—valued at more than $22 million—to communities across the Western Balkans and beyond.

Our Mission

Twenty-eight June helps communities around the world overcome adversity, fight poverty, and defend dignity through social justice.

Our Values

In the Gregorian calendar, June 28 marks the feast day of St. Vitus, the patron saint invoked for protection against storms. As an organization dedicated to guiding people through life's most turbulent times, we chose the name 28. Jun — a stylized homage to this date — to reflect our mission of standing strong amid adversity.

At 28. Jun, we believe food and shelter are basic human rights, not privileges. We are committed to preserving human dignity in the face of displacement, disaster, and despair. For families with nowhere else to turn, we serve as a lifeline. For communities shaken by crisis, conflict, or misfortune, we stand as a pillar of support.

We don't just respond to storms — we help people rebuild after them.

Our Work

Guided by a deep philanthropic commitment and a proven record of scalable impact, we work to ensure that vulnerable communities are supported with dignity and efficiency. Our efforts are anchored in three core pillars:

Protection & Shelter

Providing safe housing, essential care, and long-term support for vulnerable women, children, and families.

Health & Emergency Relief

Responding rapidly to crises with critical medical aid, supplies, and services where they are needed most.

Empowerment & Advocacy

Building economic resilience and driving lasting change through community empowerment and awareness initiatives.
