About Us

Standing strong amid adversity since 2012

28. Jun is a humanitarian organization serving the Western Balkans holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2018. Since our founding in 2012, we have delivered over 250 tons of humanitarian, medical, and disaster relief aid—valued at more than $22 million—to communities across the Western Balkans and beyond.

Our Mission

28. Jun (Twenty-Eight June) helps communities around the world overcome adversity, fight poverty, and defend dignity through social justice.

Our Values

In the Gregorian calendar, June 28 marks the feast day of St. Vitus, the patron saint invoked for protection against storms. As an organization dedicated to guiding people through life's most turbulent times, we chose the name 28. Jun — a stylized homage to this date — to reflect our mission of standing strong amid adversity.

At 28. Jun, we believe food and shelter are basic human rights, not privileges. We are committed to preserving human dignity in the face of displacement, disaster, and despair. For families with nowhere else to turn, we serve as a lifeline. For communities shaken by crisis, conflict, or misfortune, we stand as a pillar of support.

We don't just respond to storms — we help people rebuild after them.
