Free “Ne damo Svetinje” for everyone in Montenegro

Our “Ne damo svetinje” initiative in support of free and democratic principles in Montenegro has been underway for several days now. The diaspora’s support has allowed the good people of Montenegro to stand up and voice their opinions and needs. We thank you all sincerely for this continued show of solidarity and unity.

As a token of our gratitude to all those who have supported this cause— and with it, the right of the people of Montenegro to democratically and peacefully choose their laws and elect their leadership—28. Jun will donate 100 “Ne damo svetinje” T-shirts directly to the people of Montenegro, free of charge.

T-shirts will be distributed by Vladislav Dajkovic, who is currently leading efforts to support the protesters of Montenegro in their struggle for democracy. To get your free shirt, contact Vladislav via Facebook. The first 100 people to do so will get a shirt on a first-come, first-served basis.

We want to see you in our shirts! If you’ve purchased or won a “Ne damo svetinje” T-shirt, post a photo and tag #nedamosvetinje, @28jun and @vladislav_dajkovic. We’ll happily share your photos and messages of support for this great cause.

As a reminder, members of the diaspora who would like to continue supporting this cause can still purchase a shirt through our online shop: https://28jun.myshopify.com/

Proceeds from this initiative will directly support underprivileged families in Montenegro during this trying period.

Support Pravo Izbora!

Ne damo Svetinje!

After watching with concern the events unfolding in Montenegro, and carefully researching and sifting through misinformation, 28. Jun has decided to take a stand with the pro-democracy protesters.

Proceeds from our ‘Ne damo svetinje’ T-shirts will go toward supporting brave initiatives to defend the rights of the Montenegrin people and their wish to democratically and peacefully choose their laws and elect their leadership.

The manual is currently regarded as the most valued manual for dealing with the outbreak and was shared by media in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Macedonia which helped with the rapid spread.

Jun and Atlas General Hospital and distributed by the Mediately mobile app which is used by a majority of doctors in the region. If there are any healthcare workers not familiar with the manial please visit www.lecenjekoronce.com to read/download the manual for free.

28. Jun orders release of 100,000 protective equipment items to fight coronavirus in Serbia

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has the potential for exceptional devastation in Serbia due to the country’s demographic makeup. Serbia has one of the oldest populations in the world with 33.19% being over the age of 55 and the virus has shown to be life-threatening to older generations.

The coronavirus outbreak has already left medical supplies in short supply around the world. This is why 28. Jun has earmarked over 100,000 protective equipment items including N95 respirator masks, gowns, gloves and eye protective goggles, to help curb the pandemic in Serbia.

We have an additional $1 million (CAD) worth of medical equipment in Serbia which we delivered from the US last year. This includes anesthesia machines, portable X-ray units, ultrasound machines, EKG/ECG machines and several tons of medical supplies. Each piece of equipment has been tested by a biomedical engineer and determined to be in good working order by our American supplier, ‘Supplies Over Seas’.

We have instructed the authorities to immediately release these urgent supplies and will be using our mailing list and social media platforms to inform the Serbian public on how to best prepare for the pandemic.

28. Jun Officially Launches ‘Child Poverty Eradication Program’

Our ‘Child Poverty Eradication Program’ invests in the the most vital members of a community, the kids, by providing them with monthly sponsorships. Our pilot project, in which we sponsored 25 kids from Sibenik-Knin County, has reached the 6-month mark. Due to the success of this trial, we are now expanding the project to other parts of the Western Balkans. The program will be in support of the SDG’s Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere.

With your help, our volunteers ensure no child is left out.
