Covid-19 Donation Concludes 8-year Humanitarian Project

28. Jun has proudly supported Clinical Center Nis by donating 8 tonnes of medical aid during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. The organization collaborated with Director Zoran Radovanovic, who expressed his immense gratitude on behalf of all staff and patients at the center and for the donation as well as previous support to Serbian health institutions since the organization’s inception in 2012.

The contents of the container were valued at 553,389.44 Euros ($855,692.89 CAD) by the Nis region Ministry of Finance customs division, and consisted of anesthesia machines, portable X-ray units, ultrasound machines, EKG/ECG machines and several tonnes of medical supplies. The support also included over 100,000 protective equipment items such as N95 respirator masks, gowns, gloves and eye protective goggles, to support staff throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia.

28. Jun President and Founder Filip Filipi added “I am immensely proud of the dedication shown by our donors and Snezana Dimitrijevic, Sava Vojnovic and Maria Grubor, who spent over a year clearing this much needed help. This donation concluded an eight-year project in which we delivered over 200 tonnes of aid worth over $8 million to Serbia. I thank you all for your support and hope that, in the coming weeks, we will take a unified stand in our efforts to combat COVID-19, continuing to protect our country and our people.”
