Kusturica hosted Jasenovac exhibit TODAY in New York!

International humanitarian organization 28. Jun is partnering with the Foreign Ministry of Serbia, the Jasenovac Research Institute, the Shem Olam Institute (Israel) and the Andric Institute to present an exhibition and conference on the Jasenovac Death Camps entitled ‘Hidden Holocaust’. The largest event of its kind on American soil, it will mark 75 years since the establishment of Jasenovac and entrench the right to remembrance of the victims by their descendants and the global community. 28. Jun handled the marketing and branding of project and designed the interactive official website of the exhibit: www.hiddenholocaust.info


The official opening will take place at 2:30 PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at 51 Harrison St., 3rd Floor, Hoboken, NJ. The keynote speaker will be two-time Cannes Palm d’Or winning filmmaker and Andric Institute founder Emir Kusturica. The exhibit will feature Jasenovac victims-themed sculptures by academic artist Katarina Tripkovic and academic sculptor Ljubisa Mancic. Ambassador Dr. Ljiljana Niksic, chief of the department for migration policy and Diaspora at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and initiator of the project stated that it “intends to mobilize the global public to contribute to the preservation of the universal values such as peace, freedom and the protection of human rights.”
